First Federal Farmers Market

Boat Basin-Amphitheater

Boppin on the Basin - Saturday nights - July 25th-Rumours performance begins at 7:30pm -More information.

Arts at the Amphitheater on SundaysJuly 26th features Guys with Guitars at 7:00 pm. Season schedule.

Movies by the River on Wednesday evenings - July 22nd showing is Polar Express. (Christmas in July event in partnership with the Huron Public Library.)  All movies begin at dusk. Complete schedule.

Best Live Music Venue...Huron Boat Basin!

The Huron Boat Basin was named the Best Live Music Venue by Lake Erie Living magazine  

"Top Ten Beaches" in Ohio includes Nickel Plate Beach!

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's June 21, 2015 article "The Beach Guide: 10 of our Favorite Lake Erie strands" included Nickel Plate Beach, with "soft sand that's easy on the toes!"  Visit our Parks page for more information on Nickel Plate Beach, including location map link for directions.

Beach Water Testing

 Erie County Health Department Beach Monitoring website posts daily water testing results (Monday-Thursday). "Huron River West" results are for Lake Front Park, and "Huron River East" results are for Nickel Plate Beach. 


Fall Ball @ Fabens Park

Baseball plays on Saturday; Softball plays on Sundays. Season is Aug. 15 - Sept. 27, 2015. No games on Labor Day weekend. Rain dates are the first three weekends of October. League spaces limited--filled by the order registrations are received. Fall Ball Team Registration information. (Sorry, we can only accept Team registrations - no individuals.)  note: 2015 Fall BASEBALL @ Fabens - All Age Divisions are FULL. 


 Note: The Spring-Summer Huron Baseball & Softball Youth Program (plays at Fabens Park) is not affiliated with Parks & Recreation. Please contact your child's coach for schedule/weather-cancellation information. Use this link to access the program's website. 



Huron Decals - $5.00 each; donation to the Huron Parks Foundation. Click on the Decal above for mail order form. New option: "static cling" decals can be removed without leaving residue!
