Fall Ball @ Fabens

Season is August 16-September 28 (Baseball on Saturdays; Softball on Sundays). Team Registration: $600 after July 14, 2014. Visit our Fall Ball page for more information and registration forms.

Summer Youth Sports Camps

What is Pickleball?

Community members are organizing Introduction to Pickleball sessions at Fabens Park Tennis Courts -- 6:00 pm on July 15. Described as "A little like tennis; a little like badminton; and a little like ping pong," organizers state it is the "fastest growing sport in America for men and women in the 55+ age group." Beginners are welcome; equipment provided. 


Nickel Plate Beach Season

Nickel Plate Beach Parking Passes are convenient and economical! Available now for the 2014 season.


Beach Water Quality 

 Erie County Health Department Beach Monitoring will again post daily water tests from the prior day. The "Huron East" report is for Nickel Plate Beach and the "Huron West" report is for Lake Front Park Beach.

NEW SERVICE - the Erie County Health Department is also participating in Nowcast, which provides "predictive models" of water quality for Nickel Plate Beach. It's an exciting advancement and Nickel Plate is one of only eight Lake Erie beaches with this service available.
